Where to worship Easter morning?
Worshipping Easter morning takes on a new meaning when you visit the Church in the Pines, a lakeside outdoor chapel that you can access by car or boat. With nature’s beauty surrounding you, it’s a transcendent way to spend Easter morning. The service on April 9 begins at 9am with a sermon by Dr. Tim Thompson and music by Jamie Henderson. Church in the Pines is located at 200 Kowaliga Marina Road, Eclectic Ala.
For those early risers out there, Church of the Living Waters at Stillwaters will host its SONRise Service at 6:30am. Dr. Thompson also be leading this service in the beautiful open air chapel located at 782 Lakeview Ridge Cir, Dadeville, Ala.
Did you say brunch?
At Anchor Bay Marina, The Social at Lake Martin is the coolest spot for casual brunch with cocktails and live music—bushwhackers are a must! You can drive or boat to the Social located at 2001 Castaway Island Rd, Eclectic, Ala.
If you’re looking for a more traditional style Sunday brunch, Copper’s Bar and Grill at Stillwaters is the place to go. The brunch menu is unbeatable and there’s great indoor and outdoor seating—all instilled with the casual vibe you expect at the lake. Copper’s is located at 797 Moonbrook Dr, Dadeville, Ala.
For a fine dining experience, SpringHouse is unrivaled at Lake Martin. Showcasing the best in seasonal fare, the brunch menu is superb and the ambiance somehow perfectly marries elegance with rustic lake touches! Make your reservation now!
Looking for a casual, bright dress?
Everything is uber laid back at Lake Martin and that includes Easter attire! We love the fun, flirty dresses at Ellaby Boutique and Cloud Nine. The colors are teed up for spring and feature flowing designs that embrace the relaxed lifestyle we live when we’re on lake time!
